Daumantas Dvilinkskas, CEO and Co-founder of TransferGo.

At the age of 32, Dvilinskas is already a serial entrepreneur with more than 10 years’ worth of experience. Together with his co-founders he has spearheaded the success of the international money transfer service TransferGo, which enables inexpensive, effective and secure cross border money transfers for more than 60 markets. Dvilinskas has grown the company to 350+ employees and raised around 70 million USD. He was part of the Innovative Finance delegation at the World Economic Forum in Davos in 2016 and at the age of 28 he was included in Forbes 30 under 30 — Finance Europe.

As CEO of TransferGo for the last 8 years, Dvilinskas has significant experience with strategy, fundraising, product development and hiring to name a few. All of which will be highly valuable for Speiz moving forward. Although his current day-to-day work with TransferGo mostly involves high level tasks, Dvilinskas is still very passionate about early phase start-ups and emphasises the importance of the founding team as well as the energy, risk and acceleration associated with the first few years of a startup journey.

Although he already has quite a bit on his plate, Dvilinskas decided to set aside time for Speiz and join the team.

I believe that the Speiz team is solving an important problem in the Commercial Real Estate market, in an industry that needs disruption. The founders are up for the task - to build an industry-changing company. That’s why I’m excited to be part of their journey, says Dvilinskas about joining the team.

Dvilinskas is taking on the role of working board member and will be dedicating a specific number of hours to work closely with the founding team, in addition to serving on the board.
